Although widespread across much of the eastern United States, this rarely seen eucnemid species was previously known from Alabama, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000) and taken for the first time in Ohio. Specimens were taken from a cross-vane panel trap and a Lindgren funnel trap. OHIO: Franklin County: 1.5 km W Canal Winchester, 31 May–13 June 2016, E.
