Remarks. The taxonomy of E. sebana and allied species was clarified by Koh & Ng (2008); it has been previously recorded from Lakshadweep by Alcock (1894, 1898) and Suvarna Devi et al. (2014). This species was also seen in Kalpeni, Kavaratti, Kadamat and Bitra, but specimens were not collected.
