DISTRIBUTION. Bangladesh, * India (Assam, Goa, Odisha), China (Taiwan), * Thailand (Chonburi, Rayong), Philippines (Mindoro).
NOTES. Thinophilus tesselatus was originally described from “ Bengalen: Rajshai” ( Becker, 1922) and was later included into catalogs as known from India. However, Rajshai (or Rajshahi) is a city in the present-day Bangladesh. So, the species is found here in India for the first time.
