Key to Costa Rican species of Esphora

(Females)

1. Antenna (Figs 1859, 1860) with scape about 1.7-1.9X as long as broad and F3 clearly transverse; fore wing conspicuously infuscate below marginal vein (Fig. 1857); ovipositor hardly exserted, the exserted part not more than 0.5X as long as mid tibial spur, gonostylus not more than 1.3X as long as mid tibial spur .................... ....................................................................................................... cyllene sp.nov.

- Antenna (Fig. 1866) with scape about 2-2.4X as long as broad and F3 longer than broad; fore wing not infuscate below marginal vein (Fig. 1865); ovipositor clearly exserted, the exserted part more than 0.6X as long as mid tibia spur, gonostylus at least about 1.7X as long as mid tibial spur ........................................ rhea sp.nov.
