Distribution. China (Jiangsu, Anhui, Hunan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, * Hong Kong, Guangxi, Hainan, Taiwan), Vietnam.
Remark. Orientilla chinensis ( Zavattari, 1922) (= tausignata Chen, 1957) is a valid species and not a synonym of O. desponsa ( Smith, 1855) ( Zhou et al. 2018a) .
