Type species: Paratachycines ussuriensis Storozhenko, 1990 , by original designation.
Generic diagnosis. Tubercles in vertex weakly raised ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–11 , 12 View FIGURES 12–17 , 18 View FIGURES 18–24 ), short and not evident relative to other genera in Aemodogryllinae . Body usually unicolorous. Internal genicular lobe of fore femur with or without a spine. Fore and mid tibiae with 2 paired apical spurs, with or without a small median spine between them. Hind femur with or without spine beneath. Hind tibiae with 40–96 spines. Hind metatarsus above with a small spine. Posterior edge of 7 th abdominal tergum rounded. Middle lobe of male genitalia not divided, pseudosternite well sclerotized.
