European distribution: Albania, Greece, Italy, Malta ( Harvey 2013b; Naumova 2020).

Notes: The distribution of Calocheiridius libanoticus within Europe is restricted to the Mediterranean area ( Harvey 2013b). Habitats in Europe were not mentioned ( Lazzeroni 1969 1970; Mahnert 1975), but outside Europe, the species has been found under stones and tree bark ( Beier 1955 1957; Schawaller and Dashdamirov 1988). This rare species was first documented in Albania only recently ( Naumova 2020), but without habitat. Albania represents the second-known country with occurrence in the Balkans.
