Vernacular: namkoa (Uab Meto).
Habit: shrub (2–3 m).
Habitat: in mixed montane rainforest and in open areas, in the slope of the rocks.
Distribution: Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Bhutan, eastern Bangladesh, northern Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam to Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Timor ( Chen et al. 2003).
