Kozlowskiella View in CoL ? sp. indet.

(Pl. I: Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 )

2013 Kozlowskiella ? sp. indet.; Maillet: 34, pl. II, fig. 9.

Material. 2 specimens (1 V, 1 F).

Description. Large amplete carapace, flattened in dorsal view. Hmax median; Lmax along the dorsal margin; Wmax dorsal. Overlap of the valves unknown (equivalve carapace?). Straight dorsal margin and hinge line. Cardinal angles of about 100°. Regularly convex free margins. Anterior and posterior parts of the carapace symmetrical. Three dorsal lobes in lateral view. Flat ventral marginal structure (velum?). Surface reticulated at least ventrally.

Discussion. The assignation of these badly preserved specimens to the genus Kozlowskiella remains uncertain, although the general outline of the carapace, the presence of three dorsal lobes in lateral view and the flat ventral marginal structure (velum?) indicate that these two specimens may belong to this genus.

Occurrence. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb A), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
