Type species: Gredzinskiya lipcowa Dworakowska, 1972
Gredzinskiya Dworakowska, 1972j View in CoL : 113; Chiang & Knight 1990a: 213 Description. Body robust, slightly flattened. Ground color pale, tips of fore wings slightly darker, eyes light grey, basal triangles of mesonotum indistinct. Vertex with pair of dark roundish patches at sides of coronal suture. Fore wing with two dark markings, one adjacent to base of brochosome field and another at basal angle of first apical cell. Head in dorsal view with anterior margin rounded, subparallel to posterior margin, narrower than pronotum. Face short, male anteclypeus very broad. Fore wing with first apical cell broad, fourth apical cell more than half length of third, AA and AP veins present; hind wing without RA vein.
Male 2S abdominal apodemes broad but short, usually extended dorsad, not exceeding hind margin of third sternite. Anal tube appendage weekly pigmented, arising from sclerotized semi-ring of anal tube base.
Male pygofer spherical, with group of macrosetae at lower basal angle, numerous hairlike setae scattered on dorsal half of pygofer side and several microsetae on inner surface of hind margin; dorsal appendage falcate, well sclerotized, movably articulated to pygofer side, ventral appendage absent. Subgenital plate broadened basally and narrowing apically, apex curved dorsad; setosity consists of 4 or more macrosetae near lateral margin, irregular rows of rigid setae along lateral margin and microsetae scattered on disc distally. Style with second extension, preapical lobe small but distinct, basal part long and very broad. Connective lamellate, manubrium short, central lobe well developed. Aedeagus tubular, with tiny processes; preatrium longer than aedeagal shaft; gonopore terminal.
