Distribution in Iran. Fars, Khuzestan, West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2011), Guilan, Tehran ( Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan ( Linnavuori 2004), Kerman ( Kiritshenko 1966; Linnavuori 2011).

General distribution. Eremian, also widely distributed in Pakistan and the Sudanese subregion.

Comments. In fields and steppes, recorded on Pulicaria sp. and Tamarix sp. (Linnavuori 2011). Newly found in the south of France in two localities at sea level and a third (in the Alps) at 2000 m a.s.l., which is probably its highest elevation in Europe ( Maurel & Streito 2012).
