Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1996a; Linnavuori 2007), Fars ( Kiritshenko 1966; Linnavuori 2011), Golestan, Mazandaran ( Heiss 2002), Guilan, Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Kerman ( Wagner 1961), Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 2008), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1954; Brown 1966; Linnavuori 2007), Northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Lindberg 1938).

General distribution. Holomediterranean, extending to Central Europe, the Middle East, and Middle Asia.

Comments. On Medicago sativa, Hordeum sp. ( Modarres Awal 1996a, 1997b). In meadows with Cladonia sp., Polytrichum sp., Rhacomitrium sp., and Sedum sp. (Linnavuori 2011).
