Distribution in Iran. Alborz ( Kheradmand et al. 2001, 2002, 2005), Fars, Kuhgiluyeh & Boyerahmad, Kordestan, West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2011), Guilan, Tehran ( Linnavuori 2007), Hamadan ( Samin et al. 2011).

General distribution. West-Palearctic, extending to Middle East and Middle Asia.

Comments. On Cyperaeae and Juncaceae in marshes and moist meadows (Linnavuori 2011).
