Distribution in Iran. West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2011).

General distribution. Holomediterranean (not yet quoted from Libya and Egypt), known from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

Comments. On the shores of Lake Urumiyeh, with Juncus sp. and Alhagi sp. (Linnavuori 2011).
