MATERIAL EXAMINED. — No specimen was collected.
DISTRIBUTION. — Werner (1898) and Sternfeld (1908b) mentioned this species from Togo as Dipsadoboa unicolor Günther, 1858 . Rasmussen (1993) indicated that specimens ZMB 13771 (from Togo, no specific locality; Werner 1898 and Sternfeld 1908b) and ZMB 13770B (from Bismarkburg; Werner 1898) are Dipsadoboa weileri (Lindholm, 1905) . Chippaux (2006) and Anonymous (2002) mentioned the occurrence of this species in Togo. Its regional distribution makes its occurrence in Togo quite certain.
