Type material: Holotype: female: China, Jiangxi Province: Ji’an City, Jinggangshan County Level City , Ciping Town , Xingzhou Village , forest, 26.519°N, 114.193°E, 514m, 3.X.2015, Keke Liu, Zeyuan Meng, Lei Zhang, Jianyun Wen and Tianming Wang leg. ( OON 75 ) GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 female, collected together with the holotype ( OON 76 ) .
Etymology: The specific name is a Latin adjective, referring to the slender snake-like sclerite in the posterior medial part of the anterior uterine sclerite (AUS) ( Fig. 10G View FIGURE 10 ).
Diagnosis: Females of Orchestina colubrina resemble to those of O. cornuta Henrard & Jocqué, 2012 , and O. yinggezui Tong & Li, 2011 in having the long lateral extensions (Ex) surrounding anterior uterine sclerite (AUS) ( Fig. 10G View FIGURE 10 ) (see Henrard & Jocqué 2012: figs 147−150; Tong & Li 2011, fig. 10A, B), but can be clearly distin- guished ( Fig. 10D View FIGURE 10 , F−H) by the PLE almost touching the PME (separate in O. cornuta and O. yinggezui: Henrard & Jocqué 2012 : fig. 140; Tong & Li 2011: fig. 1I) and by the genitalia with narrow quadrangular AUS having inconspicuous lateral protrusions and serpentiform median sclerite (narrow hoop and widened median sclerite in O. cornuta: Henrard & Jocqué 2012 : fig. 150; circular protrusions and clavate median sclerite in O. yinggezui: Tong & Li 2011 : fig. 5H).
Description: Female holotype. Habitus as in Fig. 10A, B View FIGURE 10 . Total length 1.30, carapace ( Fig. 10A, C, E View FIGURE 10 ) yellowish white, length 0.60, width 0.40, oval in dorsal view (CW/CL ≈ 0.72), anteriorly narrowed to 0.5 times its maximum width, pars cephalica elevated in lateral view, dorsally with sparse trichopores and few tiny sepia spots forming net-shaped pattern. Eyes ( Figs 10A, C, D View FIGURE 10 , 11A View FIGURE 11 ): diameters: ALE 0.10, PME 0.10, PLE 0.10; PME almost circular, touching, ALE−PME touching, ALE−PLE touching, PLE−PME separated from less than PME’s radius. Clypeus ( Figs 10C, D View FIGURE 10 , 11A, B View FIGURE 11 ) margin unmodified, anteriorly slightly curved downwards in frontal view, corners with a group of 4 setae in front of ALE. Sternum ( Figs 10E View FIGURE 10 , 11C View FIGURE 11 ) surface smooth, slightly longer than wide, shield shaped with angulate anterior corners, with sparse setae except medially, yellowish-white with dark strip on median part, and tiny dark spots around margins. Mouthparts ( Figs 10C, E View FIGURE 10 , 11 View FIGURE 11 B−F): Chelicerae yellowish-white, straight, slightly divergent apically, dorsally with few scattered, long setae, more numerous on inner margin, each base of fangs with long and fine setae; labium yellow, spade-shaped but with rounded apical part, anterior margin slightly indented, with 7 strong setae, middle part with 8 needle-like setae including 2 setae in center and two groups of 3 setae in lateral part; endites ( Figs 10E View FIGURE 10 , 11C, D View FIGURE 11 ) rectangular, almost parallel, serrula conspicuous in single row, inner margin with abundant, short, flattened setae. Abdomen ( Fig. 10B View FIGURE 10 ) oval, length 0.69, width 0.50, soft portions of dorsum pale yellow, with gray netlike pattern in dorsal view; pedicel tube short, unmodified. Book lung small, round. Spinnerets yellow, cylindrical, with abundant setae in dorsal view. Legs yellow, femur IV thickened, wider than femora I−III. Genitalia ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 F−H): in ventral view, posteriorly with recurved slit; in dorsal view, clearly with two long lateral extensions (Ex) surrounding anterior uterine sclerite (AUS); Ex with wide distal part, itself with few indentations, AUS central dark, almost quadrangular with lateral margins slightly converging posteriorly, medially with cylindrically serpentiform sclerite; receptaculum not visible in our sample but probably fused at base of AUS.
Male: Unknown.
Distribution: Only known from Jiangxi Province ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ).
