Type locality. IRAN: Mazanderan, Lahidschan (Lahidjan), tea plantation.

Material studied (total: 2 males, 5 females)

All from AZERBAIJAN: 1 male, Istisu , ca 8 km SW of Masally, Quercus , Acer , Carpinus etc. forest, 80–140 m asl, litter, under bark and stones, 19–20 Oct. 1983, S. Golovatch leg. ( ZMUM ρ3214) ; 1 male, 4 females, Astara rayon, Hyrcan Nature Reserve, SW of Zünqüləş, Parrotia & Alnus bushes, under leaves, 27 Mar. 2015, D. Antić, H. Reip & F. Walther leg. ( IZB) ; 1 female, same data, except: Parrotia , Quercus and Acer trees, under leaves ( SMNG) .

Notes. Male leg-pairs 3–7 modified. Leg-pairs 3, 4 and 7 enlarged, leg-pair 7 with a highly characteristic, posteriorly curved, coxal process with numerous short and thick setae.
