Range: — Honduras; Andes from Venezuela to Bolivia ( CH, CO, LP, SC, TA).

Ecology: —Fairly common; epiphytic, terrestrial and saxicolous in semihumid to humid forests; often in stands of Podocarpus parlatorei ; 900–3200 m.

Notes: —Sometimes this species has partly or wholly free veins and may then be confused with Pecluma dulcis or Serpocaulon funckii .
