Range: —Antilles; Mexico to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC), and Brazil.

Ecology: —Common; epiphytic on tree trunks and on larger branches, in humid forests; 300–1700 m.

Notes: —This species is distinct in having relatively thin-textured, monomorphic or slightly dimorphic, glabrous blades.
