Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (LP).

Ecology: —Rare to locally fairly common; pendent epiphyte in humid timberline forests with Polylepis sericea Wedd. and Weinmannia ; 3450–3600 m. Possibly threatened due to habitat destruction.

Notes: —Highly variable in the size and degree of dissection of the blades, but the extremes may be found even on a single plant. Superficially resembling C. jimenezii , but that has laminar glands, more widely spaced and more strongly ascending pinnae, and lacks setae.
