Discussion: This subspecies was described from the idiosoma (gnathosoma with palps lacking!) of a single female collected near Tiszabogdány, Ukraine. Szalay (1953) did not explain his reasons for considering the rather slender, T. elliptica -like specimen as the representative of a subspecies of T. barsica . The holotype of the taxon is lost and it must be considered a species incerta .
