Measurements. Total length: 13.9–16.3; head length: 1.7–2.1; head width: 2.5–2.8; pronotal width: 13.9–16.8; abdominal width: 7.9–10.0.

Body dorsally dark castaneous with some metallic green shine on pronotum and corium. Ventrally castaneous to dark castaneous and shiny but without iridescent color; abdomen with three longitudinal clear bands. Head in front of eyes reddish to castaneous. Fourth and fifth antennal segments missing. Anterolateral margins of pronotum rugose, with long yellowish stripe on each reaching base of each humeral angle. Metapleuron with distal reddish spot. Metasternal process reddish, branches divergent, curved and evanescent; anterior bifurcation almost completely excavated leaving free part of branches long ( Figs. 14–15 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ).

Male genitalia ( Figs. 10–12 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ). Base of posterolateral angles of pygophore slightly tumid. Process of genital cup long, reaching dorsal rim. Ventral rim widely excavated leaving parameres visible in ventral view; lobes large and acuminate close to and below level of posterolateral angle. Paramere large, smooth, with long narrow lobe laterally directed reaching tumid area of posterolateral angle and another large, long, narrow, and rounded projected anteriorly reaching dorsal rim. Segment X with posterior face truncate and uneven.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10 – 15 ). Gonocoxite 8 convex, slightly compressed near lateral margin, acuminate, long, almost reaching level of the gonocoxite 9; inner margin slanting, imbricate at base and widely excavated distally leaving gonocoxite 9 entirely visible. Laterotergite 8 uniformly castaneous. Laterotergite 9 oblong; base excavated close to apex of gonocoxite 8.

Comments. This species is recognizable by the lack of iridescent color on the head, scutellum, and ventral surface. The shape of gonocoxites 8, pygophore, and parameres are also diagnostic.
