Remarks. We have not yet succeeded in finding morphological differences to separate this species from Visma brigalowsum n. sp. as defined above. There may be a difference in the length of urotergite X (L/ W 0.36 –0.41 versus 0.30–0.35 in V. brigalowsum n. sp. s. str.). Molecular data for both COI and 28S consistently separate these specimens from V. brigalowsum n. sp. s. str. although the differences are not great (7.2% COI, 2.1% 28S) but this is slightly less than variation within the clade (9.1% and 3.2% respectively). We have decided to leave this decision unresolved.
The scale type of a Yanga specimen was imaged using SEM. Most major scales round but some eccentric shapes with numerous dark brown (or hyaline ventrally) subparallel ribs that do not surpass the margin of the scale, the spacing between the ribs extremely variable (e. g, Fig. 16 View FIGURES 16–20 ) with some scales showing very wide gaps between the ribs to those with closely-spaced ribs, and various intermediate spacings. Triangular scales of femora ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 21–26 ) fairly wide, almost subrectangular with serrated distal margin that does not have a strong emargination. Triangular scales on tibia ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 27–32 ) a little narrower but otherwise similar to those of the femur. Triangular scales also seen on styli (at least VII and IX) and scape but not the pedicel. Lanceolate scales present on more basal divisions of terminal filaments.
