Distribution in the US and Canada. AB, AZ, BC, CA, FL, ID, IL, IN, MA, MB, ME, MI, MN, NB, NC, NH, NF, NS, ON, OR, PE, QC, RI, SC, SK, VA, WA, WY ( Bousquet et al. 2013; Majka et al. 2009; Roesli et al. 2003).
Remarks. Palearctic. Adventive in North America. This species has become widely distributed in North America since its introduction (ca. 1855) and is likely present in all contiguous states and most provinces ( Majka et al. 2009).
