Type material. Holotype: male ( IZCAS), Mengzong Cave , Liangfengya Village , Chumi Town, Tongzi County [28°08´N, 106°49´E], Zunyi, Guizhou, China, 31 October 2009, H. Chen leg. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 11 males and 39 females, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; adjective.
Diagnosis. This new species is similar to L. reticulopecta Lin & Li, 2010 , but can be distinguished by the presence of eight promarginal cheliceral teeth and three small retromarginal teeth ( Fig. 27C); one short spine on the earlobe-shaped process of palpal tarsus ( Figs 24D, 26B); the scimitar-shaped median apophysis in the male ( Figs 24B, 27D); and the absence of slender hairs on the margin of spermathecae and sperm ducts in the female ( Figs 25C, 27B).
Description. Male (holotype): total length 2.20 ( Fig. 24A). Prosoma 1.00 long, 0.80 wide. Opisthosoma 1.60 long, 1.12 wide. Sternum 0.62 long, 0.60 wide. Prosoma brown, with one seta situated in the middle of carapace and a pair of setae prolateral of PLE. Median groove needle-shaped, pale brown. Cervical grooves and radial furrow indistinct. Eyes six, eye measurements: ALE 0.10, PLE 0.08, PME 0.06; ALE-PME 0.10, PLE-PLE 0.06, PLE-PME 0.05; AER 0.20, PER 0.22. Clypeus 0.20 high, slightly sloped anteriorly. Chelicera ( Fig. 27C) brown, with eight promarginal teeth, the distal three and the basal one stronger than others and three small retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium brown. Sternum and legs yellow. Leg measurements: I 8.00 (2.30, 0.30, 2.10, 1.80, 1.50); II 6.80 (2.00, 0.30, 1.90, 1.50, 1.10); III 5.30 (1.50, 0.25, 1.40, 1.25, 0.90); IV 7.30 (2.10, 0.30, 2.00, 1.70, 1.20). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Femur I with eight short spines prolaterally. Femur I–IV with two long spines dorsally (position 0.3 and 0.6). Male palp ( Figs 24C–D, 26A–B): tibia with three trichobothria dorsally, three long setae prolateral and one long seta, and five spines retrolaterally, with the basal one longest; middle part of tarsus with an earlobe-shaped process, which decorated with a short spine; tarsus with three long spines and one thorny spine distally. Tip of the bulb ( Figs 24B, 27D): median apophysis scimitar-shaped, conductor lamellar, embolus triangular. Opisthosoma brown.
Female (one of the paratypes): similar to male in coloration and general features, but with a smaller body size and shorter legs. Total length 2.00 ( Figs 25A–B). Prosoma 1.00 long, 0.87 wide. Opisthosoma 1.12 long, 1.25 wide. Sternum 0.62 long, 0.55 wide. Clypeus 0.12 high. Eye measurements: ALE 0.08, PLE 0.06, PME 0.05; ALE- PME 0.08, PLE-PLE 0.08, PLE-PME 0.05; AER 0.16, PER 0.20. Leg measurements: I 7.35 (2.00, 0.30, 2.05, 1.75, 1.25); II 6.09 (1.75, 0.30, 1.74, 1.30, 1.00); III 4.80 (1.40, 0.25, 1.25, 1.10, 0.80); IV 6.60 (1.90, 0.30, 1.80, 1.50, 1.10). Internal genitalia ( Figs 25C, 27B) with a pair of spermathecae and sperm ducts, anterior margin of atrium decorated with slender hairs.
Variation. Total length: males 2.00–2.20 (n = 11), females 1.85–2.10 (n = 39).
