PHENOLOGY.— Flowering: August; fruiting: unknown. DISTRIBUTION.— Mexico (Dur., S.L.P., Tamps.). HABITAT.— Desertscrub. ELEVATION.— 1600 meters. NOTES.— This Chihuahuan Desert species ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE ) is rare in Tamaulipas. REPRESENTATIVE SPECIMEN.— Mpio. Tula , 25 km S de Tula, P. Hiriart et al. 166 ( MEXU) .
