Diagnosis. E. sesamiae is firstly characterized in the subregion by its small sclerite. It may thus be confused with E. ruscus but this latter has a piliferous furrow on mandible.
Description. Gauld & Mitchell (1978).
Host records. Procerata venosata ( Lepidoptera : Brachodidae ) ( Gauld & Mitchell 1978), Busseola fusca , Sesamia calamistis and S. vuteria ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) ( Zwart 1998).
Distribution records. Reunion ( Zwart 1998). Ghana, Madagascar, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius.
