Type species. Zomba nyassiensis Lacroix, 2006 .

Zomba Lacroix, 2006: 205 ( Insecta: Coleoptera : Scarabaeidae : Pachydeminae: Pachydemini). Preoccupied by Zomba Bryant, 1923 ( Insecta: Coleoptera : Chrysomelidae : Alticinae : Monoplatini ).

Etymology. The name retains Lacroix’s generic name and prefixes it with part of his surname.

Gender. Feminine.

Diagnosis. See Lacroix (2006).

Composition. Lazomba foai ( Lacroix, 2006) new combination; Lazomba nyassiensis ( Lacroix, 2006) new combination.

Distribution. Southern Malawi.
