Bemmerinae : Raven 1985: 90.

The subfamily is considered currently to include five genera: South Asian Atmetochilus Simon, 1887 View in CoL , Damarchus Thorell, 1891 View in CoL and Damarchulus Siliwal, Molur & Raven, 2015, and South African Spiroctenus Simon, 1889 View in CoL and Pionothele Purcell, 1902 View in CoL ( Raven 1985, with counting Siliwal et al. 2015). The history and composition of this group are briefly discussed below.
