Paratype: 1 ♂, same Mountains, mid of May 1990, M.B. Gu ( IZCAS) .
Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from the Latin adjective eminulus , and means slightly protuberant, referring to the small palpal patellar apophysis.
Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T. amadelphus Simon, 1909 and T. castaneiceps Simon, 1909 by having a patellar apophysis, but can be distinguished by: the small, blunt patellar apophysis and wide and groove-shaped RTA (RTA fork-shaped and the downward ramus sharp in T. amadelphus and T. castaneiceps ).
Description. Male (holotype measured): Total length 2.20. Prosoma 1.00 long, 1.25 wide; Opisthosoma 1.30 long, 1.50 wide. Prosoma yellow, carapace with brown small denticles and short spine bilaterally. Eye measurements: AME 0.05; ALE 0.07; PME 0.04; PLE 0.05; AME–AME 0.22; AME–ALE 0.24; PME–PME 0.42; PME–PLE 0.26. MOA length 0.26 with front width 0.32 and back width 0.51. Chelicera, gnathocoxa and labium yellow, sternum light yellow. Legs yellow, with black short hairs. Leg formula: II, I, IV, III; leg measurements: I: 3.10 (1.00, 1.10, 0.55, 0.45); II: 3.15 (1.00, 1.15, 0.55, 0.45); III: 1.70 (0.50, 0.60, 0.30, 0.30); IV: 1.90 (0.70, 0.60, 0.30, 0.30). Opithosoma yellow, dorsum with small spines, venter yellow.
Palp ( Figs 50 B–D, 51 A–B). Palp with a small retrolateral patellar apophysis; VTA blunt digitiform; RTA large and wide, groove-shaped; embolus thick spinous.
Female: Unknown.
Distribution. China (Hainan). Only known from the type locality.
Variation. Total length: female, 2.10–2.20 (n=2).
