Material examined. Northern Territory. 1/0/0, Stream upstream of Wangi Falls, Litchfield NP, 13° 0 9.832 S 130° 41.166 E, 25 September 2005; 1/3/0, Pools Waterfall Creek, upstream of falls, Kakadu NP, 13° 25.762 S 132° 25.089 E, 1 October 2005. Queensland. 1/9/0, Porcupine Creek, Porcupine Gorge NP, 20° 21.039 S 144° 27.852 E, 23 October 2005; 0/2/0, Rock pool Porcupine Creek, same data as previous location.

Distribution. Northern Territory and Western Australia, and reported here for the first time from Queensland.

Remarks. The rostrum of the male from Queensland is very short, and can only be seen in lateral view. Females do not have a rostrum at all, only an area without body pores is present. As both male and female do differ in other characters, they are assigned to the nominate form.
