Type. Ammophila (Eremochares) ferghanica Gussakovskij, 1930a: 201 , Ƌ. Holotype, Ƌ "Фергана КараЯнтакъ [cyrillic] 12 V 1915 C. Ahnger // A. ferghanica sp. typicum Gussakovskij det. 192_ // к. Гуссаковского [cyrillic] // HOLOTYPE Ƌ Ammophila ferghanica Gussakovskij, 1930 [red label]".

Type locality. "Фергана" [= Fergana, Fergana Region, Uzbekistan, 40°23′N 71°47′E].
