A junior subjective synonym of Ammophila sabulosa (Linnaeus, 1758) ( Dollfuss 2013, Pulawski 2015).

Types. Ammophila sabulosa kamtshatica Gussakovskij, 1932: 4 , ♀. Syntype, ♀ "Elisovo 5 VIII 29 // Kamtsch. Malaise // Ammophila sabulosa Kamtschatica , ssp. n. ♀ V. Gussakovskij det. // к. Гуссаковского". Type locality. "Elisovo" [= Yelizovo, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, 53°11′N 158°23′E]. Discussion. A part of the type series is kept in NRS according to Dollfuss 2013, and one female from the type series is located in ZISP.
