Records ( Table 2): Benthos samples at five spring sites in Gutland and in Ösling, 12 individuals ( Gerecke et al. 2005). E1 1 larva, E3 64 larvae, E4 8 larvae, parasitic on dixids. Attribution by co­ocurrence.

Remarks: Arrenurus fontinalis is the most abundant Arrenurus species in springs of Luxemburg; with a preference for rheocrenes, rheohelocrenes and helocrenes with a slow current ( Gerecke et al. 2005).
