Remarks. The holotype of X. semistriatus (NHMUK) was examined and compared with images of specimens directly compared to the M. quercicola holotype (NMNH) by SMS and were found to be conspecific.
Distribution. China, Japan, Korea, Russia (E. Siberia), Taiwan, Thailand, West Malaysia.
