Remarks. An image of the X. figuratus View in CoL holotype (NHMW) was examined. The species is transferred to Xyleborinus View in CoL Reitter because of the diagnostic minute conical scutellum which is disconnected from elytra and mycangium which opens adjacent to scutellum.
Distribution. Sri Lanka.
