Mimastra tarsalis species group

This group is characterized by trapezoid first male protarsomere which is distinctly concave from above. The ventral side of the first male protarsomere is covered with five shallow concavities and the setae forms a cuneiform area near the base of the second protarsomere. The group comprises only one species: M. tarsalis .
