Genus Rosulapelta View in CoL gen. nov.
Type species. Rosulapelta rosetta sp. nov.
Etymology. From Latin rosula, little rose, and peltus, small shield, for the characteristic decoration of frontal shield.
Diagnosis. Zooids with oral spines, a raised costal shield reduced to a rosette, a small porous area surrounded by a circular rim, and smooth or pseudoporous hyperstomial ooecium not closed by operculum.
