Distribution. The species is widely distributed in Africa south of Sahara ( Burkina Faso, Chad, Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, D. R. Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa).
