Diagnosis. Modified from Jóźwiak & Jakiel (2012). Cephalothorax pear-shaped. Pleon with five free pleonites. Antennule 4-articled; article-1 outer margin with minute setae or microtrichia. Antenna 6-articled; articles 2 and 3 each with one long seta; article-4 with small spines or microtrichia. Mandibles molar reduced. Left mandible with long and thick lacinia mobilis. Labium without medial or lateral projections. Maxilliped endites unfused, each with one rounded process and two setae distally; bases unfused distally; palp articles 3 and 4 with numerous setules. Cheliped basis wider than long; carpus stout (1.4 times longer than wide); movable finger slightly larger than fixed finger. Pereopods 1–6 with coxa; basis with lateral margins somewhat parallel to each other. Pereopods 1–3 merus with bayonet seta. Pereopods 5–6 propodus shorter than carpus. Pereopods 4–6 propodus with three short spiniform setae dorsodistally and two long setulose/serrated spiniform setae ventrodistally; dactylus and unguis sinuous. Uropod short, not extending beyond pleotelson; exopod fused to basal article forming a short spur; endopod short and one-articled (formed by fusion of two short articles).
