Hydroporus bodemeyeri View in CoL sensu lato
Material examined. Turkey: one male, Erzurum [recently Bayburt prov.], east of Bayburt, Çoruh [= Chorokhi river], 1 June 1989, M.A. Jäch leg. ( NHMW) ; one female, south of Tatvan [Bitlis prov.], 1700–2000 m ( NHMW) .
Remarks. A teneral male from Bayburt province and a female from Van province, whose identification was not possible using genital characters, were included in the geometric morphometric analysis to clarify their taxonomic status. The analysis reveals that they clearly belong to H. bodemeyeri , their subspecific status, however, remains unclear. As these specimens are the only ones available from localities in eastern Turkey, far from the current known distribution of H. bodemeyeri (see Figure 5 View Figure 5 ), we do not assign them to subspecies here.
