Remarks. This species was described based on syntypes from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Monné et al. (2017) designated a lectotype. Currently, it is known from Ecuador, Peru, French Guiana, Bolivia, and Brazil (Rondônia, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, Santa Catarina) ( Bezark 2023; Monné 2023b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2022).
Material examined. BRAZIL, Pará (new state record): Serra Norte, Igarapé Pojuca , 1 male ( MZSP 54754 View Materials ), XI.1983 , no collector indicated ( MZSP).
