Comments: According to the catalogue of Silfverberg (2004), it has been recorded from Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It is known also from Belarus ( Alexandrovitch et al. 1996). On the territory of the northern part of the former East Prussia, it has been recorded from Königsberg [Kaliningrad] and Insterburg [Chernyakhovsk] ( Bercio & Folwaczny 1979). This dendrophilous predatory species occurs in the burrows of its prey species - Ptilinus fuscus Geoffr ( Anobiidae ) and Lyctus linearis Gz. ( Lyctidae ).
