37. SALPINGUS BIMACULATUS (GYLLENHAL, 1810) * Examined material: Recorded from only one site: 1 km E Chernyakhovsk , 54°538´49.1´´N 21°53´4´´E, 09.V.2009 (1 ex., inundated terrace of the Angrapa River, the dry pine grove, leg. V. Alekseev) .
Comments: New species for the fauna of the Kaliningrad region. This species is widely distributed across the whole Baltic and Fennoscandian region and has been recorded from all territories except Denmark ( Silfverberg 2004). It has also been recorded from Belarus ( Alexandrovitch et al. 1996). This species has not been recorded from the territory of the former East Prussia. The species develops in the dry, apical parts and twigs of standing pines ( Pinus sylvestris ) ( Nikitsky et al. 1996).
