Description. Female. Body length 3.3 mm; fore wing length 2.6 mm.

Head. Antennae slender, filiform, more than 21-segmented (apical segments missing). Scape 1.4 times as long as maximum width. First flagellar segment 5.0 times as long as its apical width, 1.25 times as long as second segment. Head width 1.4 times its median length. Head behind eye rather distinctly and roundly narrowed. Eye 1.9 times as long as temple in dorsal view. Ocelli small, in triangle with base 2.3 times its sides. POL: OD: OOL= 7: 3: 7. Vertex distinctly and densely coriaceous, with sparse, short and semi-erect setae in posterior half and laterally, glabrous in wide medioanterior half. Frons distinctly and densely coriaceous with fine striation anteriorly. Temple densely coriaceous in upper half and almost smooth in lower half. Eye glabrous, 1.3 times as high as broad. Malar space 0.3 times height of eye, 1.1 times as long as basal width of mandible. Malar suture absent. Face finely and densely granulate-coriaceous with fine striation, smooth medially, its width almost equal to height of eye, 1.15 times height of face and clypeus combined. Clypeus with very narrow lower flange. Clypeal suture entirely distinct. Hypoclypeal depression round, its width 0.7 times distance from edge of depression to eye, 0.35 times width of face. Head below eyes (front view) distinctly and roundly narrowed. Occipital carina not joined with hypostomal carina being shortly obliterated near base of mandible. Hypostomal flange narrow.

Mesosoma. Length 2.1 times as long as its height. Neck of prothorax rather short, distinctly convex dorsally, with two distinct pronotal carinae, anterior carina situated submedially, but posterior carina distinctly close to posterior margin of pronotum. Mesoscutum entirely with dense, short and semi-erect white setae, rather finely and small reticulate with distinct and dense granulation, with rugosity in rather narrow medioposterior area. Mesoscutum highly and almost perpendicularly elevated above pronotum (lateral view); its median lobe (dorsal view) distinctly convex anteriorly, without median depression. Notauli deep and rather wide anteriorly, shallow and narrow posteriorly, crenulate. Prescutellar depression shallow, long, smooth, with three carinae, 0.4 times as long as scutellum. Scutellum distinctly densely granulate. Mesopleuron smooth, medially widely glabrous. Subalar depression shallow, rather wide, rugose-striate with granulation. Precoxal sulcus shallow, smooth, running along anterior 0.7 of lower part of mesopleuron. Propodeum with areas indistinctly delineated by carinae, basolateral areas entirely densely reticulate, with rugosity along carinae; rest part of propodeum rugose-striate.

FIGURES 1–7. Guaygata fujianus sp. nov. 1, habitus, lateral aspect; 2, wings; 3, mesosoma, lateral aspect; 4, head, frontal aspect; 5, head, dorsal view; 6, metasoma, dorsal aspect; 7, mesosoma, dorsal aspect. Scale bar 0.5mm.

Wings. Fore wing 2.9 times as long as maximum width. Vein r arising distinctly before middle of pterostigma. 3-SR: r: SR1: 2-SR= 15: 5: 27: 12. Second submarginal cell large, 3.1 times as long as maximum width, 1.85 times as long as first subdiscal cell. 1-SR+M distinctly S-curved. m-cu slightly postfurcal. CU1a not interstitial, arising from anterior 0.4 of distal margin of brachial cell. Hind wing, M+CU 0.75 times as long as 1-M. m-cu almost straight, strong slanted, distinctly antefurcal, unsclerotized.

Legs. Hind coxa striate dorsally, smooth in rest part. Hind femur smooth, 2.5 times as long as wide. Hind tibia with rather long, dense and semi-erect setae, their length 0.5–0.8 times maximum width of tibia. Hind tarsus 0.9 times as long as hind tibia. Hind basitarsus 0.4 times as long as second-fifth segments combined; second tarsal segment 0.8 times as long as basitarsus, 1.3 times as long as fifth segment (excluding pretarsus).

Metasoma. Almost as long as mesosoma and head combined. First tergite distinctly and almost linearly widened from base to apex, dorsal carinae short. Length of first tergite 1.2 times as long as its maximum width; apical width 1.8 times its minimum width. Second suture rather shallow, weakly curved. Median length of second tergite 0.75 times as long as its basal width, 1.6 times length of third tergite. Third tergite without transverse furrow. Length of second and third tergites combined 1.2 times basal width of second tergite, 0.95 times their maximum width. First tergite entirely distinctly and rather densely curvedly striate with dense and distinct additional rugulosity between striae. Second tergite rather densely striate with additional rugulosity. Third tergite in subbasal transverse stripe short and finely striate. Remaining tergites smooth. Ovipositor sheath 0.8 times as long as metasoma, equal to mesosoma, 0.5 times as long as fore wing.

Colour. Body light reddish brown. Antenna light reddish brown to black. Palpi pale yellow. Legs yellow, bases of all tibiae pale yellow. Ovipositor sheath black. Wing membrane faintly infuscate. Pterostigma brown, pale basally and apically.

Male. Unknown.

Diagnosis. This new species is similar to G. m a r i a e (Belokobylskij), but differs in second tergite long (its length 0.75 times as long as basal width and 1.6 times length of third tergite), third metasomal tergite without transverse furrow; ocelli in very obtuse triangle with base 2.3 times its sides; mesoscutum highly and almost perpendicularly elevated above pronotum (in lateral view), and mesopleuron and hind femur smooth. This new species is also similar to G. mayaensis Belokobylskij et Maeto from Japan, but differs besides characters listed for G. m a r i a e also in the ovipositor sheath short (0.8 times as long as metasoma, equal to mesosoma and 0.5 times as long as fore wing), third metasomal tergite in subbasal transverse stripe short and finely striate, and first flagellar segment 5.0 times as long as its apical width.

Distribution. China (Fujian).

Etymology. From the Fujian province, type locality of the species.
