Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ serratus ”, meaning “serrated”, and refers to the serrated tip of the lamella characteristca in the male palp.

Diagnosis. The male can be distinguished from that of any other congeners by the lamella characteristca Ushaped, less branched; embolus proper small, attached to relatively large thumb and the distal suprategular apophysis hook-shaped with sharp pointed end ( Fig. 172A, B, D View FIGURE 172 ).

Clypeus 0.21 high. Sternum longer than wide, pale, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with three promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider. Eye sizes and interdistances:AME 0.05, ALE 0.07, PME 0.07, PLE 0.07, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.07, AME–ALE, 0.06, PME–PLE 0.05, AME–PME 0.09, ALE–ALE 0.35, PLE–PLE 0.39, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 7.52 (1.77, 2.32, 2.32, 1.11), II 6.82 (1.77, 2.11, 1.95, 0.99) III 4.04 (1.24, 1.16, 1, 0.64), IV 6.28 (1.59, 2.16, 1.67, 0.86). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.76 and Tm IV 0.43. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 1.46 long, 0.69 wide, oval, gray, dorsally with three pairs of white broad patches; ventral side yellowish gray.

Palp ( Fig. 172A–D View FIGURE 172 ): Patella shorter than tibia with a very long dorsal spine; tibia longer than wide, half long of cymbium, with two retrolateral and one dorsal trichobothria. Paracymbium proximally wider than long, with fine spines, distal arm relatively narrower with blunt end. The distal suprategular apophysis hook-shaped, with very sharped tip. Radix almost equals to 3/4 lenth of cymbiunm; Fickert’s gland situated in radix; embolus proper short, attached to relatively robust thumb. Median membrane broad. Lamella characteristca relatively Ushaped, curved with serrated tip.

Female. Unknown.
