Types. Holotype ♂, CHINA, Yunnan, Gongshan County, Dulongjiang Township, East bench of Dulongjiang at Baili Village , 28.00985°N, 98.32352°E, alt. 1670m, 3 November 2004, D. H. Kavanaugh leg. ( DHK –2004– 070) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 6♂ 4♀, same data as holotype ( DHK – 2004–070) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ ceratinus ”, meaning “horned” and refers to the horn-like prolateral tibial apophysis in the male palp.

Diagnosis. The new species resembles Oia sororia Wunderlich, 1973 ( Figs 239A–D View FIGURE 239 , 240A–D View FIGURE 240 , 241A–C View FIGURE 241 ; Wunderlich, 1973, figs 36, 37), but can be distinguished by dorsal tibial apophysis relatively narrower in O. ceratinum sp. nov. ( Figs 239A, B View FIGURE 239 , 240A View FIGURE 240 ), whereas broader in O. sororia sp. nov. ( Wunderlich, 1973, figs 36, 37). Distal suprategular apophysis leaf-shaped in retrolateral view in O. ceratinum sp. nov. ( Figs 239B View FIGURE 239 , 240B View FIGURE 240 ), whereas tongue-shaped in O. sororia sp. nov. ( Wunderlich, 1973, figs 36, 37). Copulatory ducts spirally coiled before entering the spermathecae in O. ceratinum sp. nov. ( Fig. 241A–C View FIGURE 241 ), whereas directly enter the spermathecae in O. sororia sp. nov. ( Wunderlich, 1973, fig. 42).
