Etymology. This epithet derives from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles Prosoponoides pianmaensis sp. nov. in having a similar scape and with about half entrance groove ( Fig. 261A–C View FIGURE 261 ; Fig. 273B–D View FIGURE 273 ). It can be distinguised by the spermathecae thumb-shaped and pointing anteriorly in P. dongshaofangensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 261C View FIGURE 261 ), whereas C-shaped and pointing posteriorly in P. pianmaensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 273B–D View FIGURE 273 ).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 262A, B View FIGURE 262 ): Total length: 2.20. Carapace 0.97 long, 0.87 wide; cephalic region slightly elevated, yellow; cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.14 high. Sternum longer than wide, yellow. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with three promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eyes: AER recurved, PER procurved, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.05, ALE 0.07, PME 0.05, PLE 0.06, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.06, AME–ALE, 0.07, PME–PLE 0.08, AME–PME 0.08, ALE–ALE 0.37, PLE–PLE 0.41, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 4.16 (1.09, 1.29, 1.09, 0.69), II 3.66 (1.08, 1.15, 0.88, 0.55), III 2.35 (0.74, 0.76, 0.53, 0.32), IV 3.33 (1.06, 0.95, 0.83, 0.49). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.36 and Tm IV 0.22. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2- 2. Abdomen 1.44 long, 1.08 wide, oval, black; ventral side brown.
Epigyne ( Fig. 261A–C View FIGURE 261 ): Posteriorly with two oval openings of entrance grooves separated by median septum, margins curved and sclerotized. Parmula round, projecting posteriorly from the dorsal plate, with a large pit ventrally. Vulva: wider than long, entrance grooves started from ventral wall, with about half coil, turning points and spermathecae present dorso-mesally on apices; spermathecae thumb-shaped, pointing anteriorly; fertilization ducts long, present dorso-laterally, extending mesally.
Male. Unknown.
