Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ magnus ”, meaning “large” and referring to large and very prominent sperm duct in male palp.

Diagnosis. This new species can be differentiated from any other congeners by the distal arm of paracymbium tip oval with blunt end, embolic division of male palp with a unique large sperm duct and long C-shaped embolus ( Fig. 38A–E View FIGURE 38 ). Scape absent and relatively long spermathecae in epigyne ( Fig. 39A–C View FIGURE 39 ).

Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 40A, B View FIGURE 40 ): Total length: 2.11 Carapace 0.99 long, 0.73 wide, the cephalic region slightly elevated, dark brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.28 high. Sternum longer than wide, brown, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with three promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eye region narrow, AER recurved, PER straight and slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.06 ALE 0.08, PME 0.06, PLE 0.06, AME–AME 0.05, PME–PME 0.05, AME–ALE, 0.07, PME–PLE 0.08, ALE–ALE 0.38, PLE–PLE 0.41, ALE– PLE 0.01. Legs long, pale. Length of legs: I 4.11 (1.30, 0.99, 0.69), II 3.83 (1.04, 1.27, 0.88, 0.64), III 2.55 (0.73, 0.76, 0.63, 0.43), IV 3.20 (0.93, 0.96, 0.79, 0.52). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.49 and Tm IV 0.31. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 1.12 long, 0.74 wide, oval, light brown, dorsally with median black strip in anterior 2/3 of abdomen, followed by three transverse black chevrons, base of spinnerets black, ventral side light brown.

Palp ( Figs 38A–E View FIGURE 38 ): Tibia conic, with one retrolateral and one dorsal trichobothrium, with many short or long spine-like hairs on all surfaces. Paracymbium sclerotized, proximal end wider than distal part, distal arm curved with ear lobe-shaped tip, tegulum with a transparent protegulum bulge on ectal side; the distal suprategular apophysis hidden in unexpanded palp; median membrane sclerotized, distal end leaf-shaped, slightly covering the embolus; embolic plate highly sclerotized, with a large sperm duct, quite prominent in unexpanded palp; dorsal projection of embolic plate conical in shaped, overlapping the cymbium in prolateral view; anterior projection of embolic plate thick, sclerotized; embolus thick, highly sclerotized, curved, originates from prolateral side of palp.

Female (one of paratypes, 40C, D): Total length: 2.11.

Epigyne ( Fig. 39A–C View FIGURE 39 ): Ventral plate with a depressed area on each side, posterior margin wave-like; distal end of parmula round; copulatory ducts forming single coil before joining to the spermathecae; spermathecae long, present at the apex of the dorsal plate, pointing away from each other; fertilization ducts extending mesally.
