Types. Holotype ♀, CHINA, Yunnan, Fugong County, Lishadi Township, Shibali , 27.10520°N, 98.77980°E, alt. 2530m, 4–10 August 2005, Guo Tang leg. (Tang–05–02). GoogleMaps
Etymology. This epithet derives from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from any other Bolyphantes species by having the pseudoscape outline nose-like in epigyne ( Fig. 42A–C View FIGURE 42 ).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 43A, B View FIGURE 43 ): Total length: 2.46, Carapace 0.96 long, 0.71 wide; cephalic region slightly elevated, brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.28 high. Sternum longer than wide, brown, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with five promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eye region narrow, AER recurved, PER straight and slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.06, ALE 0.09, PME 0.06, PLE 0.08, AME–AME 0.02, PME–PME 0.04, AME–ALE, 0.03, PME–PLE 0.04, AME–PME 0.06, ALE–ALE 0.32, PLE–PLE 0.35 ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 4.3 (1.16, 1.33, 1.07, 0.74), II 3.78 (1.05, 1.15, 0.89, 0.69), III 2.86 (0.85, 0.85, 0.69, 0.47), IV 3.73 (1.08, 1.16, 0.93, 0.56). Leg formula I-IV-II-III. Tm I 0.51 and Tm IV 0.36. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 1.65 long, 1.18 wide, oval, dorsally with distinct brown patterns from the anterior margin to the base of spinnerets; ventral side light brown.
Epigyne ( Fig. 42A–D View FIGURE 42 ): Protruding, pseudoscape outline nose-like, with well developed stretcher; stretcher tongue-shaped; entrance groove inside lateral pockets; posterior median plate broad tongue-shaped; spermathecae globular, pointing towards each other.
Male. Unknown.
